East Texas Electric Cooperative (ETEC) remains committed to delivering safe and reliable power to our cooperative members. To continue to operate safely and reliably, periodic maintenance and vegetation management of the ETEC transmission rights-of-way must be performed. Maintenance activities include but are not limited to tree trimming, tree cutting, mowing, hand clearing, and mulching in existing ETEC rights-of-way. Additional maintenance activities, such as culvert and access gate repairs and replacements, may also be deemed necessary for ETEC to complete the maintenance scope of the project safely and on budget. This right-of-way maintenance project is located throughout the Cherokee County Electric Cooperative Association (CCECA) footprint, and as such, CCECA and ETEC will partner to complete the project.
Knight Erosion Control, INC., dba Knight Engineering & Construction, has been selected as the right-of-way maintenance contractor and will be retained for the project's duration.
Inquiries to ETEC may be made via phone at 936-560-9532 and/or via email at Engineering@gtpower.com.
